A classic example of wanting to deploy the latest technology without wanting to transform their business to take advantage of it or without having a plan to do so. Really frustrating place with an 80's work culture
If you like driving, meeting people, don’t mind shifts , with no 2 days the same then it’s a good job. Plenty of overtime most of the time especially through the summer months. Remember services run early morning to around midnight daily.
It was a go place to work the hardest part was filing gas buses in the cold kept freezing it was good in the summer the night's work was easy you was left to get on with the job
People I directly worked with were great, that's all that kept me going here. Company and senior management have no consideration for there staff, there is no training, and the job is deadend, the Bus division is likely much better, but the coach division is run separately, if your desperate and want a job, don't commit to this, there is no training or support set in place, and you will be expected to do above and beyond your role.
dead end job, poor pay, no rewards or training, company/division is on its way out
The business as a very high turn over of staff this is due to shuffeling family life with work life .... it takes a certain type of person to deal with the daily perils the job can offer... there is a grt atmosphere between fellow workers management is a different story... health and safety is paramount yous and towards others although I say this is more a job than a career some do make it there career choice
The people Working here are fantastic mostly but unfortunately it is poorly managed and can be extremely stressful. There is no real pattern in the shifts can be working from 5 am to 12 noon one day then the next starting at 6am and not finishing til 6 pm which makes home life difficult Pay is better than most in the local area
You have to work 7 days consecutively to get to your rest days. When you’re on rota it’s 1 week early 1 week late your body get screwed up so bad that you’re constantly tired. Never able to have a life outside work. Pay is very bad for the extremely demanding and difficult job you do. Even Aldi pays better than this. You get verbally abused everyday, public got no respect for you and even attack you!!
zeer onregelmatig werk, werk/privebalans is erg slecht
