Ok to work for could be better long hours no paid breaks so you there 12 to 13 hours but paid 9 to 10 not good uniform comes in drib and crabs covid rules not really unforced
Long hours no paid breaks
Not family oriented or very considerate to personal problems. No support for the workers from management. Very very poor communication. Engorged to grass other people up. Very poor at helping you out and just an all round company not to work for if you are passionate about your job. As they really dont care about you as a person. Or a member of staff.

I was employed for 5 years had a nasty accident which wasn’t my fault was off on long term sick i eventually handed my notice in due to getting no support from management and wanting me to attend meetings knowing full well I couldn’t drive (doctors orders) also life/work balance is terrible they expect you to be at their beck and call even on your rest days poor management poor buses and poor attitudes
Free passes for the family
Long hours no life
The same as anywhere else. If you want to work all the hours in the world you can. However it is down to you to manage your home and work life. Company is good but if your face does not fit there is certain individuals who will do anything to make your life miserable. Saying that it is the same where ever you are these days. Overall Fantastic company to work for where you can receive benefits such as Welfare Benefits for drivers and there families. Credit Union Savings or Loans at unbeatable rates. Company pension is pretty good too with a couple of options available. Unfortunately Fleet vehicles are in need of updating and or repair.

make a mistake and you won't be forgiven easily
Travel from UK to various European countries, early morning start Mondays around 02.00 am regular vehicle inspections and report writing on findings along with records and systems/procedures irregularities. regular travel between sites to carry out the above duties. returning home between late afternoon Fridays and early hours Saturday mornings. learned to communicate with co workers throughout Europe. Management rarely in contact. Hardest part was the travelling being in an airport almost every Monday and Friday. Most enjoyable was meeting European work colleagues and learning to speak in basic foreign languages
Meeting colleagues from europe
long hours travelling
I always went i early for my shift just in case my duty was changed. Iwuld then sign in and pick up my duty board a vehicle details. If i was starting at the depot i would go to my vehicle do the nessary checks and if I had time before I was due to leave have a chat and a cup of coffee. I learned that not all people have the same needs. some need more help than others and I had to be diversive in my approach to people and nt judge people on first impressions I found that if you did your job that management were happy.I made a lot of freinds over the yers and enjoyed helpng my colleages with problems where help was needed The hardest part of the job was keeping to the time table has traffic problems controled whether you were late or on time The most enjoyable part of the was dealing with different people every day and the fact that no two days were the same.
good pay free travel and a good pension scheme plus making freinds
long hard days and fustration with traffic
