I DO NOT recommend working as a PM for Generali Philippines simply because the people in authority within the PMO team are not effective in their role as knowledgeable, accountable, and professional leaders. They do not have initiative not do not have the time to process the work being done by team to fully appreciate the efforts and work being done. They are just focused on the timeline and results. Growth is not seen in their current practice in this management. Truly disappointing. They would even recommend you to do OT instead promoting proper work and life balance… a PMO team will not be effective if the leaders managing the team are not fit for the position they are in. Turnover of people is so fast that they have a trouble keeping track of their own documentation and milestones… my months spent here gave me an opportunity to work with very talented and hardworking SMEs and vendors - that is what I’m only grateful for because the PMO team is toxic and does not promote camaraderie. There’s so much more but if you’re still willing to push through with you PM career with this company, go and find out for yourself. Cheers!

Come intermediario assicurativo dipendente, dopo un iniziale periodo di prova in cui bisogna portare dei numeri, si viene assunti a tempo indeterminato. La paga consiste in un fisso del quale possiamo pero tralasciare e del riconoscimento in base alla % di budget perfezionato e bonus. Ci sono diversi benefit a tutela del dipendente e del suo nucleo familiare di cui tener conto (rimborso spese mediche, viaggio, coperture assicurative, welfare, finanziamenti, bonus ecc).Non è facile essere tagliati per questo lavoro prettamente commerciale per quanto riguarda i numeri richiesti certamente ambiziosi e la gestione della clientela e della sua emotività.Di certo, trovato il proprio equilibrio e lavorando con lungimiranza ed etica, il tutto viene ripagato.

Non è molto di aiuto ma dipende dall’agenzia in cui ci si trova. Io personalmente mi sono trovato bene, con alcuni alti e bassi ma l’ambiente lavorativo era positivo e professionale, con grande esperienza percui il lavoro veniva reso facile.

Training is poor. They will give you a 1 hour powerpoint for complex products and expect you to master them with little to no practice. No actual trainer and you have to rely on coworkers from other teams for help. It is a sink-or-swim approach.Systems crash everyday and hasn’t been updated in 20 years. Policy verbiage is very misleading and unethical. In result, a large amount of angry customers. Majority of the department is either fired, quits, or about to quit because of the unrealistic company expectations. You will be micromanaged everyday and be expected to track every minute of the day. Expect to make a-lot of calls through your shift, note the position was advertised as the opposite. Absolutely no company culture.
