Ho lavorato presso il reparto Custormers in cassa per un contratto di stage di sei mesi nella sede di Bari (Mungivacca). Il rapporto con i colleghi e con gli altri ragazzi a contratto determinato o in stage come me è stato ottimo, così come l'appartenenza ad un grande gruppo, sembra di stare in famiglia, se non fosse per la poca coordinazione e competenza dei responsabili di reparto che trattano i loro "sottoposti" in base alle simpatie, deridendoli a volte, con battutine non dette in faccia ma dette alle spalle. Poca professionalità e superbia da parte dei supports (specie le donne) e dalla responsabile.

If you like to be busy then IKEA is the place

The job wasn’t bad at all they let us work from home we had pto and benefits, however we are the call center for the entire US so we would have to work 1:30-10pm to be available for PST time (11am-7pm) which doesn’t really make much sense to me. Also you WILL have to work every Saturday or Sunday from 1:30-10pm which give you no time for a personal life. & the call volume is Extremely high. It’s 500+ calls in the que at all times. Even if it’s 10mins before clock out they still allow calls to come in. So brace yourself for no breaks in between calls they aren’t all challenging calls just endless. It’s not a bad place because you make good money and you get to work from home but you’ll be super busy. Keep that in mind.

Good place to work

IKEA is a good place to work, the co-workers and managers are great. The pay is fair and the hours are good if you don’t mind working 1 weekend on and the next off. The only negative is some of the customers too privileged.

Definitely the worst call center EVER

The job as a CSR is very stressful and difficult. The Job consists of back to back calls of entitled angry customers about delayed orders and sales.. But you will be working across the board about things you have no training or clue about. Training is about 9 days..Your phone metrics are scored as soon as you leave Training. Breaks are sometimes spread out up to 3 hrs apart. Training hardly matches job description. About 60% of the calls are Escalations that Supervisor try to avoid taking. If you ask a TL a question, the only concern is making sure we are providing empathy along with the conflicting help they provide. I have worked in Retail and CSR for over 15yrs.I was also a mentor and TL prior to working at Ikea.This company has me literally rethinking my life. My Recruiter literally will not answer the phone because of my disappointment in this job. Definitely underpaid, untrained and a miserable position to work. Know your worth and ask alot of questions before accepting a position with IKEA.

Great Place To Work

IKEA is a wonderful company to get your star at. The salaries that they pay are very high in the benefits are quite amazing frankly I’ve never seen any type of PTO, health benefits, and other goodies they offer their employees. If I could pick one thing wrong I would say there’s really no room for growth unless people die or leave the company because most people stay in their roles for years and years.

Decent for the short term

Honestly loved the job for the first year, then it progressively got worse and worse and management is awful and useless. Met lots of cool people tho.

Not worth it.

Place is run like a joke. Nobody in management communicates. They do not care about you. They care about the numbers you pull. If you’re looking to get annoyed for 10 hours then sign right up. Policies are built to work against you, and they thrive off of punishment mentality.

great values but the execution can fall short

better pay than other places, amazing benefits, full time positions are hard to come by since they’re popular but if you work 20+ hours they consider you full time and give you benefits. free anacks and lunches on busy days, free fruit, tasty 3$ lunches but they give you a lot of tasks but not enough coverage. managers can be useless, just sitting in the back chatting not checking on coworkers. working at ikea is like having a crush. at first you’re delusional and idealistic and everything is butterflies and roses, but then you wake up one day and realize it’s not as great as it’s cracked up to be. if you can find a department you like that doesn’t stress you out, it’s a great place, but sales can be a pain

Fast paced but fun place to work

I would recommend working here 100%, you get a lot of customer experience and you can gain so much experience by switching departments, something that is very hard to come by in most jobs. My time working here I have worked in four different departments and have learned so much I can carry on with me in the future. The pay is great and you get a present at Christmas and an egg for Easter :D it's the little things that make the place so much fun.

Extremely physical demanding job with low pay

This job is extremely physically demanding, u will be absolutely burned out by half shift and with such a low pay for such a physical demanding job its so sad, you have to constantly lift, bend fetch items way above 50 pounds 90% of the time, standing on machine for long periods of time, all your feet will get destroyed with pain, back pain etc, it's an extremely stressful job, for such physical job the pay should be at least $22 and up, you're better off going to construction and do labor for way more than what this ikea is paying

Terrible management and ZERO work-life balance

We all know IKEA is a busy place, what you should know before you work there is that all your managers will hide in their office or go home early on any busy day, so just know that you will be doing absolutely EVERYTHING, oh and your co-workers will probably just walk around and gossip while you do all the work. Also if anyone in your family dies, they will still expect you to come in the next day and if you call in sick instead because you absolutely need that day to be with your family, they will gossip about how you went on a vacation when in reality you were away having to bury your relative.

Not bad

Great benefits, good people to work with, 3 days off, standing for entire shift, the managers definitely have their favorite co-workers letting them stand around and talk while everyone else is working. Overall it’s a decent place to work

Travail stressant tout le temps là pour vous rappeler la prod vous faire culpabiliser si vous ne faites pas d'heure sup. À votre arrivée ils vous prennent de belles valeurs qu'ils n'ont même pas eux-mêmes. Service RH et paie n'en parlons même pas

Benefits are good, work culture not so much..

Easy company to work for, has good benefits and incentives. Very relaxed atmosphere but in my opinion that has been leading to a high lack of accountability to do one's job.

une entreprise qui en demande trop pour un job de conseillé de vente

Horaires jamais fixes, jour de congé non plus. Société qui en demande beaucoup trop à ses employés sans reconnaitre le travail fourni.

Has become a High stressed environment

Understaffed and Overworked , some of the management act as though they can care less about helping you with customers. Mangers can sometimes take frustrations out on there peers. Upper management seem to care more about the money then the staff.

Ideal para alguien que jamas ha trabajado.

Estuve en logística, mucha carga física. Falta personal. Contratan ett y los van rotando todo el tiempo y el que lleva más tiempo allí hace el trabajo de 3 personas. Poder ir escalando a mejores puestos es eterno y es por antigüedad no por mérito o conocimiento

Great benefits

This job has amazing benefits! Pto, 401k, health and dental benefits. You get full time benefits working as a part time employee. They hire just about anyone. Even felons. Don't expect to go anywhere higher than a driver.

Management has taken a dive in the wrong direction

I've been with this company for several years, I started when it was still fairly new. Management and support were great at the beginning but soon started to decline as sales started to slip and the focus was redirected from a sense of work balance to 100% focus on the customer and satisfying their needs, while disregarding coworkers.During COVID the store directed its attention focusing on sales due to lack of customers visiting the store and the sense of togetherness (one of the IKEA values) was clearly lost. Angry customers verbally abusing Store greeters and individual coworkers that are instructed to remind visitors of Provincial health orders. Management dismisses complaints and disregards coworkers feelings and the circumstances.Workers are forced to work through the abuse with a smile on their face while Safety & Security AND management do nothing to rectify the situation. Instead of finding solutions or solidifying management protocols they throw free lunches and snack packs at your face expecting you to feel better.
