We are seeking Bilingual Italian Language Data & Quality Reviewer. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Italian and ONE of the languages stated below to join our team and play a pivotal role in researching information for various entities, tools, and datasets to enhance AI powered platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional logical and analytical skills to effectively assess data and provide insightful reasoning.

Language Pairs:

We are hiring for the following language pairs:

• Italian ↔ Japanese
• Italian ↔ Portuguese
• Italian ↔ Russian
• Italian ↔ Chinese

The task involves matching words from a source text to their corresponding translations. Participants will be presented with a short text and its translation, both split into individual words or parts. The goal is to drag and drop the words to align the source text with its translation. No specific language is designated as the source, as each pair is treated interchangeably. Proficiency in both languages is required, though native fluency is not necessary.

Must be proficient in both languages.

• Quality Assurance: Take ownership of the quality of all training data, actively identify any issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Data Science and Product teams on various projects, providing data quality metrics and identifying new attributes to enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Take ownership of the quality of training data, actively identifying and addressing any issues or anomalies to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data used for AI model training.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Data Science and Product teams on various projects, providing expertise in data analysis and contributing to the development of data quality metrics. Work collaboratively to identify new attributes and features that can enhance model performance and usability.

Required Skills:

• Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in both languages required.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data quality issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency (reading, writing, and/or speaking) in both German and Hindi.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in typing and writing.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

If you are certified as a Linguist, it is considered a plus!

• Currently hiring for a part-time position (up to 20 hours a week!)
• The candidate is preferred to be available in IST. (Preferred 8am IST onwards).
• Having access to good Wi-Fi connection during working hour.
• This role is a 1099 independent contractor position. Please note that this classification may vary based on your location and local regulations. We encourage applicants outside of the US to familiarize themselves with their country's tax laws and regulations regarding independent contracting. For most candidates outside of the US, a W-8 BEN form is provided.

Pay:

USD $10.00 - USD $14.00 per hour (independent contractor)

EUR 9.71 - EUR 13.60 per hour

This is a freelancer role, designed for those who are looking for supplemental income. The project does not have a specific end date, as work availability is sporadic and varies. It's important to understand that the work is not always consistent. Tasks will be uploaded as they become available, and you’ll be notified via WhatsApp, email, or Slack (once onboarded through client’s portal). Work is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so while it’s an excellent opportunity to earn additional income, it’s best suited for individuals who are flexible and can manage sporadic work availability.
