Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway*****in Alto Adige/South Tyrol is currently looking for a Receptionist.

As the first point of contact for our discerning guests, you will embody the unique and distinctive spirit, the quiet sophistication, and refined, understated elegance that define the Fine Hotel & Hideaway Berghoferin. Your role begins before arrival and often extends beyond departure – ensuring each guest feels genuinely welcomed, individually cared for, and effortlessly guided throughout their stay. From orchestrating smooth arrivals and departures to offering bespoke recommendations, thoughtful attention to detail, and attending to every request with discretion and poise, your warm professionalism sets the tone for unforgettable stays in this truly unique five-star hideaway

With only 13 suites, the Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway combines the charm of a private estate – meticulously maintained with dedication and attention to detail – with the excellence of five-star hospitality. Here, luxury hospitality is seamlessly blended with a deep respect for the region, nature, and local culture.

Thanks to its exceptional location – picturesquely situated at 1,500 meters above sea level, surrounded by breathtaking and untouched nature – the hotel offers an exclusive retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of urban life and mass tourism. This unique setting attracts a discerning and sophisticated international clientele seeking peace, privacy, and an authentic, memorable experience.

The Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway is seeking a talented and passionate professional with a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for delivering refined, guest-oriented service.

We are looking for someone who shares our unwavering commitment to excellence and is devoted to offering impeccable, personalised service that not only meets but exceeds guest expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in a similar role, along with a genuine enthusiasm for embracing the unique spirit and philosophy of our house. A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute within our distinctive environment is essential.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing consistently outstanding service and embodying our philosophy of highly personalised, discreet, and engaging hospitality across all guest interactions

Ensuring a smooth, professional, and guest-focused front office operation – from pre-arrival communication to departure and follow-up

Extending a warm and gracious welcome to all guests upon arrival, offering assistance with check-in and ensuring a seamless and personalised introduction to the hotel; escorting guests to their suite with a detailed introduction or accompanying restaurant guests to the restaurant

Confidently communicating all relevant information regarding the hotel’s offerings, services, and surrounding area, tailored to individual guest preferences

Coordinating with other departments and maintaining close communication across the hotel to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience

Handling inquiries, requests, and special arrangements with discretion, care, and a keen attention to detail

Managing daily administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness, including guest correspondence, reservations, maintaining records, and fulfilling reporting duties

Maintaining the reception area to the highest standards of appearance, organisation, and guest readiness

Upholding impeccable personal presentation and ensuring a polished, well-groomed appearance that reflects the standards ofBerghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway

Communicating regularly with the managing owners to share key insights, guest feedback, concerns, and suggestions for continuous improvement

Talents and qualifications that are valued:

Good knowledge of German, Italian and English

Successfully completed hospitality education or additional qualifications/certifications are considered an asset

Relevant experience in the upscale hotel industry or a comparable environment is a plus

A genuine passion for hospitality and a sincere commitment to refined excellence and bespoke, guest-focused service

Excellent communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude

Enthusiasm for working in a culture-savvy environment

Familiarity with a refined ambiance, and good manners and etiquette

Ability to work independently

Ability to multitask and stay calm in busy and challenging situations

Strong team spirit and a willingness to help wherever needed

Well-mannered behavior and professionalism towards colleagues and superiors
