Customer Service Representative
Our Vancouver-based company makes premium dance apparel for dance specialty stores worldwide. We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative. This person will be the main point of contact between the company and its retailers, distributors, and individual customers, throughout Canada, the USA, and Internationally.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 40 hours/ week, 8 am – 4 pm
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls and voicemails
- Reply to emails and phone calls regarding all customer service inquiries including online, wholesale, and direct sale orders, stock, returns/exchanges, new accounts, custom styles
- Correspond with reps as needed
- Field questions and inquiries regarding orders, inventory, and shipments via phone and email
- The data entry point for new orders and any order changes
- Responsible for the invoicing process and relevant spreadsheets; order spreadsheet, invoices, holds log, sales database spreadsheet, etc.
- Confirm and communicate weekly order shipments to customers and reps (if applicable)
- Help to plan and schedule production
- Prepares weekly reports and presents them to management, such as the weekly orders count
- Escalates issues to management as required
- Orders office and shipping supplies weekly
- Supports in other projects or tasks as requested.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Highly organized with a high level of attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Experienced with MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to learn to use in‐house software and Excel spreadsheets
- Good judgment – able to problem solve
- Good record-keeping skills
