Posizione:

• Manage the Finance Dept function including collaborators, and supervise the day by day processes of the Dept.
• Plan, organise and manage own and Dept’s workload to ensure that the company’s monthly financial reporting is achieved in a timely and accurate manner including: production and submission of Monthly Cashflow, ageing and monthly financial reporting to head offices, assisting the managing director in providing the quarterly comment of the reporting to the hq, regulatory reporting including vat, sales and supplementary disclosures
• provide the managing director with all reports as and when required.
• maintain the financial records of the company to stand up to audit both by internal and external stakeholders
• responsibility for the production of the company’s financial statements ready for submission to regulatory bodies.
• responsibility for the production of the company’s corporation tax return for submissions to the regulatory bodies
• in support to the local md, prepare and submit the proposal of the financial budget of the company to the Hq
• Ensuring that the Customer invoicing is completed on a timely basis
• Manage the Debtors Ledger and prompt customer payments whilst maintaining a good working relationship with Customers.
• Ensure that Supplier invoices are processed and paid on a timely basis to maintain a good working relationship with Suppliers.
• Management of the cashflow of the business including the cash pooling process
• Provide information to Head Office according to deadlines and adhoc requirements.
• Management of expenses processes in line with the Company policy
• Manage credit limits and credit checking in line with Company policy and minimising risk to the business
• knowledge of non financial information (esg) ideal but not essential
• knowledge of transfer price principles
• as a member of the Management Team, she/he will take part to the activities and meetings, with other Management Team members
• supervise product cost calculation to have a proper inventory valuation;
• supporting local depts in finding opportunities for cost saving and improving efficiency.

Requisiti:

Essential

• High level of numeracy
• Intermediate level of Excel; good knowledge of Office Package
• Good level of IT competence and understanding and experience of Accounting packages – Oracle ideal but not essential
• Familiar with the implementation of a changing ERP projects
• knowledge of hyperion financial management (hfm) is considered a plus.
• 5 years’ experience of working in a busy Finance Dept at a senior/middle management level
• Good attention to detail and good analytical ability
• Good communication and listening skills with experience of communicating at all levels of management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
• Calm and professional disposition
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• A team player
• Able to work in a busy environment that often demands high level of concentration
• Able to respond effectively to changing priorities
