Company Description


In 2024, CBRE and Turner & Townsend combined their project management business. This has already been completed in some geographies, with Italy proposed to follow in April 2025.

Turner and Townsend Italy are now expanding their HR team to handle this activity and are seeking an interim senior HR professional to plan and co-ordinate acquisition related activities in Italy. This is a hands-on role to ensure that all people related aspects of the acquisition of CBRE’s project management business in Italy is completed successfully.

The duration of the assignment is expected to be 4-6 months, starting January 2025.


Job Description

  • Manage works council and unions consultations to a successful conclusion.
  • Conduct due diligence and data gathering activities, evaluate findings and assess risks.
  • Undertake a side-by-side benefits/reward analysis (incl. bargaining agreements) and a create a proposal for alignment and harmonisation, as appropriate.
  • Liaise with in-country external legal advisors
  • Assist in the development and delivery of communication materials, including any onboarding initiatives.
  • First point of contact for contact for counterparts in seller’s business (CBRE)
  • Operationalise all aspects of the People TSA.
  • Liaise with other workstream leads to ensure timely completion of activities.

Qualifications
  • Previous Mergers and Acquisition experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management/business management
  • Ability to work independently
  • English language ability
  • Strong prioritisation skills
