Hello and welcome to Walks and Devour!!

We are looking for a Fulfillment Support Specialist (Categoria Protetta - L. 68/99) to join our Fulfillment Team. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable. The ideal candidate enjoys working with processes, data, and operational settings, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our guests, guides, and internal teams.

You thrive in a structured yet flexible environment and can handle multiple tasks at once, from daily operational checks to guide assignments and ticket management. While prior experience in tourism is a plus, we value a proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.

Must haves:

  • Fluent Italian & English speaker
  • 2 to 3 years data entry and customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Italian citizenship
  • You must have medical documentation certifying the percentage of disability, in order to register for Law 68/'99 you must have a percentage of disability of at least 46%.

You must provide also:

  • Valid certificate of registration for the “collocamento obbligatorio” (i.e. that since it was released the person has not carried out even one day of work activity). If the worker is registered outside the province of Rome, the date of issue must not be earlier than 7 days.
  • Photocopy of the certificate certifying the degree of recognized disability (even without the pathology), or if it concerns art. 18 the certificate certifying membership in the protected category issued by the “ente preposto”.

The Opportunity

This role supports our Fulfillment Team in managing the day-to-day operational processes related to our tours. You will work closely with the Italian Fulfillment Manager to ensure seamless tour execution, proper resource allocation, and guest satisfaction.

This position offers the opportunity to grow within an international company while developing key skills in operations, project coordination, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Support: Assist in ensuring all operational elements of tours are correctly set up and adjusted as needed.
  • Ticket Loading & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate ticket distribution and availability across our systems.
  • Guide Assignments: Support the scheduling and coordination of guides for various tours.
  • Guest Requests & Adjustments: Process special guest requests, last-minute changes, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Quality Control: Monitor tour logistics and identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the In-Destination Teams, Operations, and Customer Service to maintain smooth processes.
  • Data & Reporting: Help track key operational metrics and maintain up-to-date records in relevant systems.
  • Seasonal Projects: Support high-demand periods by assisting with temporary projects and operational needs.

Your Skills & Experience

Organized & Detail-Oriented: You excel at managing multiple tasks and ensuring that all operational elements are correctly set.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with operational tools and eager to learn new systems (experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and project management tools is a plus).

Problem-Solver: You think critically and proactively look for solutions when operational challenges arise.

Clear Communicator: Professional and efficient in written and verbal communication.

Team Player: Collaborative and able to work across different teams and functions.

Previous Experience: Some experience in operations, customer support, administration, or tourism is a plus but not required.

Flexible & Adaptable: Able to adjust to changing priorities and work some weekends or non-standard hours when needed.

Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written).
