EcoWater Systems, specialized in water treatment devices, is the world's leader manufacturer of water softeners for domestic use. EcoWater Systems markets water softeners, drinking water filtration systems, intended for private individuals and for the tertiary sector. EcoWater Systems is a member of MARMON WATER a Berkshire Hathaway company. EcoWater is present through different distribution channels and different brands.

As the EcoWater Marketing Manager in Italy, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This dynamic position requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage external partnerships, and ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with our company's goals and values.

Your missions:
Join us and be part of a team dedicated to delivering innovative water treatment solutions while driving impactful marketing strategies in Italy. Apply your expertise to enhance our brand presence and contribute to the following key responsibilities:

1. Strategic planning and market analysis:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the Italian market, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct and analyze market research to identify new opportunities, target audiences, and competitive landscapes.
  • Utilize insights from market research to inform strategy adjustments and marketing initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.

2. Campaign and content management :

  • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they resonate with the target audience and drive measurable results.
  • Create and manage high-quality, relevant content across various platforms, including digital, social media, email marketing, and traditional media.
  • Collaborate with agencies for social media to enhance online presence and engagement. Monitor data for site performance and present periodic web campaign progress updates.
  • Manage social media editorial plans with agency for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn content.

3. Sales and customer support :

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute programs that support sales growth, including lead generation initiatives, referral programs, promotional activities, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Create and manage sales support materials (presentations, price lists, and store materials…) for field usages and provide support at trade fairs and events.
  • Register and manage leads and contact requests for all brands.

4. Budget and performance management :

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, adjusting as needed to stay within budget and achieve marketing goals.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

5. Partnerships, events, and back-office activities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify marketing efforts and expand brand presence.
  • Organize customer or internal incentive trips and events, producing coordinated marketing materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all marketing channels and materials, adhering to company guidelines and standards.
  • Update manuals and provide technical support instructions when necessary.

Your profile:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong energy, perseverance, and determination to achieve the set goals. You must also have the below:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role and creative thinking, with a proven track record of success, preferably in the water treatment or HVAC- related industry.
  • Strategic Thinking: deep understanding of the Italian market dynamics, consumer behavior and ability to develop innovative marketing solutions that drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, make informed decisions and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, analytics, social media platforms, and content management systems. Knowledge of AI tools for marketing will be an added asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (participation in European meetings, video calls, interactions with other EcoWater countries).

Location and commitments:

  • Permanent full-time role. Home-office possibility up to 2 days/week.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe for meetings and events.
