Graduate Technical Field Application Engineer IP&E in Italy
Our Arrow’s EMEA Graduate Program is a 12-month journey designed specifically for graduates who completed their education not more than 2 years ago and are seeking to take part in a practical learning curriculum. We provide a platform to work with experienced mentors to accelerate and establish a solid foundation to build and grow your career at Arrow. During the program, selected candidates will learn on-the-job, improve both professional and soft skills, and will be able to meet with and learn from experts across the business. By the end of the program, you will have the ground to further develop a successful career in Arrow.

What you should expect from the role:
Arrow believes that the best way for you to learn is by fully integrating you into the business and giving you accountability for your job-related tasks. Throughout the program, you will also need to complete program assignments to put into practice what you learn and work alongside highly specialized experts.
As a Technical Field Application Engineer dedicated to the IP&E technologies at Arrow the primary role is to provide technical support and expertise to customers.
We consider IP&E : Interconnect (Signal & Power connectors), Passive (Capacitors, Resistors, Inductors, Transformers) & Electro Mechanicals (Relays, Contactors, Switches).
A TFAE would bring several valuable contributions to a customer, including:
- Technical knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Arrow’s (IP&E) products, services, and solutions. Provide customers with guidance on how to choose the right components or solutions that meet their needs.
- Problem-solving skills: Help customers troubleshoot technical issues and offer practical solutions that meet their requirements.
- Design expertise: Assist customers in designing and developing custom solutions that meet their unique specifications.
- Product validation: Engage suppliers to assist with product validation to ensure that the products meet the customer's requirements and standards. Examples, schematic reviews, mechanical designs, pre-compliance testing, raw materials etc.
- Collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Key Point of Contact: Act as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, ensuring that the customer's requirements are understood and met. In practice, this can be supply of development kit, samples and reference designs, guidance on product selection, etc.
- System cost down advice: Suggest IP&E solutions and techniques which can benefit the overall cost of the Bills Of Material (BOM), process cost or improve availability of parts in respect to lead times.
Requirements:
- You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
- You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Industrial Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or related studies in 2024 or not more than 2 years ago.
- Business fluent Italian AND English (oral & written).
- Sound knowledge of concepts in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Good understanding of latest technologies and trends in the market.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be able to interact proactively with the team and external stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new platforms and systems with an innovative approach.
- Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific macro-technologies.
- You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings something new to the table and is not afraid to share those ideas.
- A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn.
