Purpose of Position:
Management of direct sales for a specific group of customers in the Global Accounts Team (Large FMCG Customers). Take care of the relationship with the customer, analyzing the customer and product needs and stimulating new business opportunities. Close collaboration with the different teams; research and development department, pricing, sourcing, marketing and supply chain.

Description of Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Implement the commercial strategy for the channels and customers of competence based on the guidelines received
  • Manage the relationship and collaboration with the customer effectively and in line with business objectives
  • Leading negotiations with the customer and identifying the growth levers of the managed client portfolio
  • Close collaboration with Research and Development through new product development projects with the customers
  • Organizing innovation days with the Research and Development team, marketing and chefs to bring new concepts to the customers
  • Mapping of the customer to fully understand where we can work with the customer across their brands and our technologies
  • Develop and implement account plans in order to build partnerships with the customers
  • Building of a robust pipeline with the customers both on short- and longer-term projects
  • Manage sales forecasts
  • Contributing to product/process innovation processes
  • Carry out reporting and meetings on-site
  • Travel across EMEA

Requirements:

  • Education:Bachelor/master degree
  • Professional Skills: Commercial Acumen; Excellent communication; Strong analytical skills; Ability to plan and achieve goals; Knowledge of trading techniques; Knowledge of the ingredients and, in general, the range of IRCA products; technical knowledge and experience in product application.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Sales and Technical in B2B companies in food sector
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English
  • Computer Skills: MS office (Excel) mandatory and CRM systems
  • Behavioral Requirements: Commercial aptitude, strong communication, ability to understand customer needs; Can build long-lasting relationships; Strong orientation to the result; leadership; problem solving
  • Others: availability to travel in the EMEA Region
