For our Italian office located in Trescore Balneario (Bergamo), we are looking for a new Air Freight Forwarder.

Responsibilities:

• Establishment and development of air freight services - both import and export;

• Processing of requests, organization and control of the whole process of air freight transportation;

• Communication with the real Customer concerning the organization and management of international cargo transportation (air freight);

• Communication with the transport Suppliers, clarification of transportation details;

• Making quotes under all the requests and Order Releases when Ordered;

• Creation of transport orders in internal company systems;

• Participation in tender preparations if needed;

• Identify new market opportunities and devising innovative approaches to increase airfreight volume and profitability;

• Help to sales team to identify market needs;

• Monitoring market trends and analyzing the competitive landscape.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience with air freight transportation within the freight forwarding industry;

• Experience with the organization of "door to door" air freight transportation service;

• Experience with the direct communication with the Customer and transport Suppliers;

• High level of writing and speaking English;

• Broadminded, out of the box thinking and ability to find nonstandard solutions;

• Demonstrated success in biz development.
