OPEN LABORATORY POSITION



R&I Genetics is seeking for a graduate in biological/biotechnological sciences to be

included within its laboratory unit.




R&I Genetics is a clinical laboratory, located in Padova, operating in the field of genetic testing in
rare diseases accredited within the Italian National Healthcare System (SSN).
The core activity of the laboratory is focused on NGS sequencing in tandem with other genetic
testing technologies, i.e.: targeted NGS panel sequencing, whole exome sequencing (WES), whole
genome sequencings (WGS), Sanger Sequencing, high density CGH array, Real Time PCR and
fluorescent quantitative PCRs.

Applicants for the open position should hold a Master degree in Biology or Biotechnology and
preferentially hold professional qualification as a biologist. Previous experience in molecular
biology, NGS sequencing, Sanger sequencing and bioinformatics is an advantage. Basic informatics
skills are mandatory (OSx, Office, etc).
The candidate should be extremely motivated, have well-developed social skills and able to work
in a team.
