The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers.

Posizione:

We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Industrial Designer.

MISSION

He/She designs products in line with the Elica brand or with the brands that Elica serves, based on briefs that may come from the market, sales department or marketing department and devises new solutions and concepts to fuel the product roadmap in line with the company's innovative DNA.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• 
  Design products in line with requests coming from other departments or external customers (OEM product development);
• Follow the development process with R&D and provide all the material necessary for it (3D product files, screen printing files, etc.);
• Collaborate in the creation of new product concepts within the innovation area and follow their development up to the prototyping phase;
• Support the design of the new user interface (UX/UI);
• Support the marketing department for the creation of material relating to all communication activities (rendering, photo retouching, etc.).

Requisiti:

• Degree in Industrial Design or similar;
• Good knowledge of parametric 3D software (e.g. Creo or ThinkDesign) o similar (e.g. Rhinoceros);
• Good knowledge of Adobe Suite (photoshop, illustrator, etc);
• Good knowledge of 3D Studio Max and VRay in order to realize the rendering;
• Good Knowledge of all processing techniques and transformations of materials (e.g. moulding, blending, bending, etc);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Professional working proficiency in both Italian and English are a must-have;
• At least two years of experience in product design;
• Strong communication skills will complete the profile.
