We are looking for an intern (fluent in both Italian and English) to join our modelling team, which works on projects in Italy and abroad for public and private clients such as public transport operators, concessionaires, investment funds, financial institutions and public bodies.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team that complements our existing modelling offering and will assist in projects that include

Transport Due Diligence and Transport Planning Development of complex transport models and related analytical tasks using a range of technical tools (VISUM, VISSIM, Emme, CUBE) Working with colleagues across the business to provide high quality advice and differentiated services to our clients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in planning, engineering or related field, ideally with a transportation focus
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a good knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel);
• Knowledge of Macrosimulation and/or Microsimulation Network modelling (VISUM/VISSIM);
• Understanding and application of logit models;
• Good written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience and to write reports and presentations in a logical and well-structured way;
• Ability to work in different teams, as well as independently.

Additional skills will be positively evaluated:

• Knowledge of GIS software
• Knowledge of Statistical analysis (R, Stata)
