Job Description Summary

To provide leadership to PET supply chain projects as part of the expanding worldwide network of PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturers. Additionally, take technical ownership of GE Healthcare's expanding portfolio of PET tracers. This will include management of existing products resolving CMO and vendor issues as well as providing technical input to improvement and simplification initiatives. The PET Project Manager will operate at European remaining constantly aligned with the corporate strategy.
The candidate is located in EU, but is available for travelling globally, according the business needs.

Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Technology transfer projects

  • Manage and deliver technology transfer projects with multi-disciplinary teams within the PET network and consumables functions
  • Collaborate and drive process, quality improvements and simplification initiatives across the supply chain
  • Deliver projects on time according to defined specifications and funding parameters.
  • Provide some technical knowledge input to resolving project quality or manufacturing issues at customers and vendors.
  • Lead and organize internal and external meetings with vendors and contractors
  • Manage and deliver PET Supply Chain projects to support business operations
  • Product lifecycle management
  • Plan and prioritize all regional projects as part of the PET program portfolio
  • Control project budgets, and report out to key stakeholders
  • Provide support to customers and to internal GE Healthcare segments
  • Providing and author supporting documentation and summary reports
  • Help to develop and maintain product design files for each of GE Healthcare's proprietary PET tracers
  • Plan and priorities post-launch development of PET radiopharmaceuticals
  • Give 'voice of customer' input to R&D group on the commercial manufacturing requirements for new PET tracers
  • Provide support to customers and to QA for product complaints related to all PET SC products
  • Travels are required within European countries or abroad for supporting CMOs reliability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
  • At least 3 years' experience working in the pharmaceutical industry (manufacturing, R&D, or technical support) running projects or programs.
  • Experience in PET tracer manufacture (cyclotrons, chemistry systems platforms, QC methodology) is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, Project and Power Bi
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Ability to manage phone call and organize meetings
  • Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills

Key skills must include:

  • Project management and strong organizational skills required. Good time management.
  • A knowledge of GMP, ISO and other management systems used in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong problem-solving abilities for resolving project issues. Good at making decisions to stop, pivot or continue.
  • Focus and engagement: success in the role will depend on the ability to form strong relationships with third-party manufacturing partners and vendors
  • A high degree of autonomy is necessary, as the role might be geographically separated from the hiring manager and other project team members
