Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for an Italian Holding Accounting Specialist to join our HQ Administration team based in Milan.
Reporting directly to the GL&Reporting Italia Manager, you will:
  • Ensure correct and timely closure of the monthly book-close under IFRS and submission of the Reporting on Hyperion for the assigned Italian holding legal entities
  • Support to the yearly preparation of the Statutory Financial Statements for the assigned legal entities
  • Oversee and coordinate the Accounts Payable processes from order to payment (pivot between the outsourcer and the internal structure and departments); prepare month-end cost center accruals and prepaid expenses in cooperation with controlling department
  • Ensure statistical and compliance activities are periodically met, support internal and external auditors to ensure all the regulatory and statutory deadlines/activities are met
  • Perform the periodical balance sheets account reconciliations and perform various type of journal entries review
  • Participates actively in the development and the continuous improvement of the administration processes and policies
You are the right fit if you have/are:
  • Economic degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 up to 5 years-experience in Audit or Multinational companies
  • Consistent Knowledge of the general ledger mechanism and strong grip on IFRS accounting principles.
  • Good understanding on Italian Corporate Tax (direct and indirect)
  • SAP proficiency
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
