We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our plant in Zola Predosa (BO) . The candidate, who will join our team, will report directly to the plant manager and will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Manage and implement maintenance systems (extraordinary, preventive, scheduled and emergency) and oversee their correct application including related reporting and maintenance record keeping. The scope of the role includes all facilities of the site (manufacturing / logistics / common areas / offices / yards).
  • Execute, control and report mandatory legal compliance maintenance and control activities to all equipment of the site.
  • Manage the Maintenance Budget and develop management and cost control indicators. Optimize direct maintenance costs and maintenance costs for facilities.
  • Coordinate maintenance criteria for equipment, machines, production lines, systems (power supply, compressed air systems, heating, cooling systems, lifting systems, lighting, etc.), buildings, in order to minimize general malfunctions and production stoppages due to breakdowns and failures.
  • Highlighting possible machines downtime problems, in the various departments, identifying maintenance tasks and assigning activities and priorities.
  • Control and manage the reordering of spare parts and calls to external suppliers for technical support or intervention needs.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities carried out by internal or external parties are carried out according to established safety procedures and legal compliance.
  • Manage and develop the maintenance team.

Required Competencies:

  • Several years' experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company.
  • Experience in a multinational company in the sector is a plus.
  • A degree in the field of engineering is required.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent skills in managing people, suppliers and internal customers.
  • Teamwork approach, initiative and flexibility.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
