As Marketing Manager EMEA, the candidate will be responsible for creating and executing effective marketing strategies and understanding the business’ market and its challenges. The candidate will analyze market trends, identify product or service positioning opportunities, and strategize how to communicate the value proposition effectively.

Further, the applicant will work closely with various teams, such as sales, product development, and customer service, ensuring that all company efforts align with the overall strategy and business goals.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a deep understanding of the business landscape, strong analytical skills, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Being part of Marmon Foodservice Technologies means working in international team and in a complex organization, where it is fundamental to build relationships with internal stakeholders to address current and future business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, target audiences, and competitors.
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the target market and segments, customer needs and competition to construct the strategic marketing plan; develop the annual marketing plan and tactics to achieve overarching strategies and goals.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and product development, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with company strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, VOC/Insights, and commercial team to collect Voice of markets and customers, developing product value propositions and differentiated positioning.
  • Lead portfolio strategy and new product developments (NPD). Build launch plans and support sales with development of concept sells and marketing collaterals.
  • Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that spending is aligned with strategic goals. Track actual vs. budget and proactively act to off- set any variances in spending , working closely with Finance.

Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies

  • 7+ years of B2B strategic marketing experience
  • Working knowledge and strong interest in the foodservice industry
  • Basic technical competence – ability to work with R&D and Sales on technical issues, queries and concerns relating to products.
  • Strong financial acumen, as well as analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, that assist in building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong team player with passion for growth.
  • Ability to frequently travel within Europe and on a less frequent basis to Middle East and United States.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken). Any other European language would be a plus.
