The Opportunity
For our Merchandising team based in Brugherio (MB) we are looking for a Planner (Beauty division) - full time maternity cover.

Your Impact
Reporting to the Planning Manager your main responsibilities will be:

Maximizing Sales & Margins:
  • Strategize items to maximize selling exposures on all the QVC platforms.
  • Identify opportunities leveraging pricing promo, installment payments and free shipping.
  • Monitor and review sales performance.
  • Manage Beauty and cross category multiplatform campaigns.
  • Partner with Buying to analyze business and develop short and mid-term strategic plans.
Stock Management
  • Manage and action overall inventory to assigned goal.
  • Analyze item performances and determine next actions such as re-orders, promotions and return to vendor.
  • Identify and action markdown and inventory liquidation/clean-up, ensuring that the correct status, pricing and liquidation strategy is applied following QVC's guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities within category assortment based on sales trends and gaps in the inventory.
Reporting
  • Partner with Buying and Commerce Platforms to forecast, plan and recap campaigns.
  • Forecast with high accuracy sales and inventory providing information for the open to buy process.
  • Build and explore/understand reports to get insights in order to update Brand/product strategy during the year.
What you bring
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of being responsible for a product area and stock management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is a must
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exposure to Tableau and Microstrategy for reporting activites (nice to have).
