We’re searching for a Construction Manager to help us expand in Italy and build our first charging stations there. You will join a growing team in the Construction Management department of Fastned. Together with +200 colleagues spread across Europe (35 nationalities and counting), we have big plans: we are building a Europe-wide network of 1,000 beautiful fast-charging stations where electric drivers can charge their cars with energy from the sun and wind. Your Role

As the Construction Manager for Italy, you'll be an integral part of our experienced and international team tasked with deploying our charging locations. Working closely with the expansion team, architects, and project managers, you'll oversee the entire construction process, from site investigations and planning to contract negotiations, site supervision, and quality control.

Your role will involve hands-on management of construction projects across Italy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality charging stations. Expect to spend a significant amount of time on the road and visiting construction sites to supervise projects firsthand.

New to electric mobility? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you'll participate in a series of engaging workshops to familiarise yourself with electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure.

Who we're looking for

• A true team player who thrives on taking initiative and responsibility
• Comfortable with making decisions and learning from mistakes
• Shares our "think like a founder" mindset
• Holds a degree in economics or technical field, preferably with expertise in architecture, electrical engineering, or civil engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in client management or construction contracting
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach
• Based in Milano or surrounding area, with willingness to travel within Italy
• Fluent in Italian (near-native level) and business-level English
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned's mission
