The Opportunity

For our Buying team based in Brugherio (MB) we are looking for an Assistant buyer (Home) – full-time maternity cover.
You will provide creative and administrative support to Buyer in developing product ranges to meet sales, margin and stock targets within a specific product/category area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the buying process.

Your Impact

Reporting to the Buying Manager (Home) you will be responsible for:
  • Managing and keeping updated all information on vendors including company profile, logo, positioning, contact person, Guest/Expert, etc…
  • Managing vendor contracts communicating information on the agreed product purchase characteristics for the order process.
  • Managing samples used in Buying team from their reception to the return.
  • Providing to the business information of the Guest availability and keep the vendor informed on any changes to the programming.
  • Data Entry activities related to products on internal program.
Your key relationship:
Internal
  • Supply Chain and QA to ensure correct and effective process order management (critical path).
  • Planning to have updated information on any changes to the programming.
  • TV Sales to provide information on vendors and Guests.
  • Finance to ensure effective administration of vendor contracts.
External
  • Vendors / Guests.
What You Bring
  • A previous proven experience in the role or in a similar role.
  • Trend awareness and passion for product.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • English: Fluent
