Modeling and Simulation Engineer: Virtual Prototyping:
Akronos Technologies Group, Italian company leader in innovation and high-tech engineering services, is looking for a Software Engineer to join our R&D teams.

Positions: Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Location: Torino

Field: Automotive

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and validating Virtual Hardware (HW) controllers, developing behavioral models in Python and/or SystemC using TLM, for the required ASICs or obtaining them from model providers.

Main tasks:
Acquire SystemC or Python behavioral models of the Virtual HW ECU for the designated design-specific Controller, including ASIC components.
Develop SystemC and/or Python behavioral models of ASICs based on datasheet specifications.
Integrate ASIC models and Microcontrollers to form complete Virtual HW controllers.
Ensure the model can accurately execute software identified for model validation.
Create and maintain Virtual TestBenches/Instrumentation for testing Virtual HW controllers.
Assist development teams utilizing the Virtual platform for software development and testing.

Competence requirements:
BSc/MSc in Electronics or Software Engineering.
Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems and associated software toolchains.
Good knowledge of Python.
Solid knowledge of Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, SOC architecture, bus protocols, etc.

Fluent in English (B2 minimum)
