Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

TXM are working in partnership with a global leader in the automation field. As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working for a Global Intralogistics business who specialise in the design and development of highly automated solutions that enable customers to meet their logistics & supply chain needs.

The ideal candidate will come from an Intra-logistics background, as well as being confident speaking with customers to design the concept of how and what tests will need to be implemented in the project.

Responsibilities

· You are responsible for conducting cross-system tests of the developed software products and ensuring the quality of new functions and systems.

· You create automated tests that are currently performed manually.

· You identify bugs and coordinate their resolution.

· You ask critical questions about the usability and configuration options of the applications and proactively suggest improvements.

· You create structured test plans and test reports and distribute their content to the respective product owners.

· Your close collaboration with other departments is key to successful testing.

Key skills required

· You have completed technical training with an IT focus and have several years of professional experience in software quality assurance.

· You have basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C++, C#, or Java) and fundamental knowledge of relational databases (SQL or Oracle) as well as Linux.

· Sufficient experience in quality assurance and testing applications in the logistics field is an important part of your profile.

· You are solution-oriented and an analytical thinker with high-quality standards.

· You possess very good English skills (German is also Beneficial)

· Willingness to work in an international, multicultural team and to proactively contribute rounds off your competencies.
