Objectives of this Role:

The resource will be responsible for developing sales at their assigned customers.
It will also be responsible for:

  • Provide technical/sales support to customers and maintain relationships with R&D department as well as quality;
  • Promote preliminary contact actions with potential customers, develop sales negotiations, formulate offers, quotes and negotiate the best sales conditions;
  • Define the order, payment terms, delivery methods and everything else necessary for the sale;
  • Review contracts and perform support activities for its negotiation. Propose and implement changes regarding contracts already in place in order to achieve significant economic improvements from a global perspective, to contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives;
  • Plan your work around the order/customer base in order to allocate your time between the most appropriate sales activities (developing new negotiations, soliciting old ones, new designs, etc.);
  • Actively collaborate with all departments-services of the company in order to provide the necessary support to their own and others' work and make a valuable contribution to the company's success;
  • Develop professional knowledge, with emphasis on company policies and procedures, customers and their needs, products and their applications, the sales process, and competitor products;
  • Periodically report to your manager on the performance of your business and if necessary, agree and implement any corrective actions.

Requisiti dell'incarico:
Training, experience and skills:

  • High school Degree with electrical and/or mechanical knowledge;
  • Knowledge of basic functions in the use of computers and the Internet;
  • Knowledge of specific computer programs related to the commercial sector;
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems;
  • Basic knowledge of catalog products and their main variants;
  • Knowledge of Italian Railway mkt;
  • Basic Knowledge of Defense and Aerospace mkt;
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and product control procedures;
  • Knowledge of business-related procedures and work instructions;
  • Negotiation and customer management skills;
  • Availability to travel.
  • Reside in Rome and surrounding area
