Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Castel D’Ario

About the Role: We are seeking a highly qualified Quality Manager to join our manufacturing plant. The position reports directly to the Plant Director.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire quality control system for manufacturing processes and finished products.

Working in close synergy with Production Supervisors, the Laboratory, and Certification Bodies, you will ensure strict compliance with company standards, industry regulations (GMP/ISO), and EHS requirements. Your role will be key in analyzing quality data to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Governance: Plan and schedule quality control activities, balancing operational priorities according to production plans and order deadlines
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Monitor quality KPIs and analyze non-conformities, developing corrective actions aimed at reducing scrap and optimizing overall line performance
Laboratory Coordination: Oversee the scheduling of laboratory tests in close collaboration with Production Planning.
Supply Chain & Compliance: Work alongside technical warehouse teams and supervisors to ensure raw material compliance during procurement.
Compliance e System Management: Maintain structured technical documentation, product specifications, and control checklists; successfully manage internal and external quality audits.
People & Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop the quality control and laboratory team, promoting a collaborative work environment built on technical expertise, trust, and mutual respect.
EHS & Safety: Ensure full adherence to environmental and safety standards, fostering awareness of chemical risks and EHS best practices within the team.

Skills & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Food Science, or a related technical field.
Professional Background: 5–7 years of solid experience in a similar quality management role within structured industrial environments preferably a food company.
Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of BRC IFS and GMP standards.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Technical & Managerial Skills: Proven team management experience, strong statistical analysis capabilities, and a structured problem-solving mindset.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effectively managing audits, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
