Jr. Product Specialist:
As part of the Technical Gases Innovation Department, within the Technology Marketing Service, the successful candidate will be responsible for market promotion and analysis (for Europe and non-European countries where the Group operates):
Processes, technologies and applications of gases for the energy transition.
Solutions relating to carbon footprint mitigation through carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS).
Open Innovation initiatives developed by the unit and related collaboration activities with identified start-ups.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Market Analysis and Research: Monitoring and analysing target markets, new technologies, ongoing projects (including their technical and economic implications) and incentive policies relating to technical gases and decarbonisation.
Engineering and Technical Support: Identifying, analysing and engineering the technologies, processes and plant (as well as selecting the relevant suppliers) required by clients in the relevant industrial sectors, whilst also supporting the implementation and commissioning phases.
Sales Tools and Business Support: To develop promotional material and sales tools (brochures, leaflets, technical notes, etc.) and provide direct technical and commercial support to the sales network of all Group companies.
Networking and Continuous Professional Development: Define the methods and tools for keeping abreast of the latest developments in projects (both current and future), including through active participation in industry events and associations dedicated to the field.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Academic qualifications: Degree in a scientific subject. A degree in Chemical or Energy Engineering is considered a preference (desirable).
Language skills: Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of a second language is considered a desirable asset.
Professional Experience: Some experience in similar or related roles is desirable.
Industry-specific skills (implicit): Ability to identify, analyse and engineer processes and plants for the environment, chemistry.
Soft Skills
Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a natural aptitude for interpersonal relationships.
Teamwork: A strong aptitude for and commitment to working as part of a team.
