The Hoxton opened its doors in Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region and home to some of the world’s most famous masterpieces of Renaissance art, architecture and monuments. This eye-candy city is packed with culture and is the birthplace of gelato – we did not need any persuading to make it our second home in the country.

The Hoxton in Florence feature 161 beautiful bedrooms of varying sizes, a large ground floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard. There is also a basement meeting and events space.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

Record and process general ledger journal entries.
Monitor accounts receivable aging, manage invoices, and track outstanding payments.
Support accounts payable, prepare payments, and perform supplier statement reconciliations.
Review of expense reports and other cost items as required.
Assist with month-end and year-end; prepare monthly accrual entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Participate in the activities and projects of the Finance team.

Strong Excel skills; intermediate to advanced level
Someone with a hands-on, outgoing, pro-active approach; taking personal responsibility and initiative to prevent or resolve problems
